Additional applications of this compound include cell culture, organic chemical synthesis, and immunohistochemistry. It is also used in continuous culture of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It has been utilized in a double staining technique for visualization of astrocytes and microglia from brain sections and astroglial cell cultures. |
