Also used as insecticide for cockroaches and black carpet beetles. In the research labs it is used as an astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal agent. Used in buffers and for calibration of polyacrylamide gel columns for the separation of oligonucleotides by capillary electrophoresis. |
