Applications

Indicator in 0.1% or 0.04% alcohol solution.α-Naphtholphthalein is used as a pH indicator and operates in the pH ranges between 7.3 and 8.7. It is also used in the designing of optical carbon dioxide sensor based on fluorescence intensity.
